Caltrans On-Call Construction Engineering and Inspection – Various Caltrans Districts throughout Northern California

Currently, VSCE is involved with Caltrans Districts 3, 4, 6, 9, 10 and 59. In addition, our firm provided on-call support on Statewide SWPPP compliance contract for Caltrans headquarters through District 43.

I-5 Corridor (Elko Grove, CA) Caltrans District 3
As a part of team for on-call inspections services, VSCE has provided inspection services on multiple projects along California’s I-5 Corridor. VSCE supported the team with inspection services in Yolo, Colusa, and Sacramento Counties. Project activities have included night work and traffic controls, repair of concrete pavement, asphalt overlay, street lighting, roadway signs, replacement of guardrail and median barrier and pavement delineations.
Highway 101 (Marin County, CA) Caltrans District 4
As a part of team for on-call inspections services, VSCE provides inspection services on multiple projects in District 4. Project activities have included night work and traffic controls, storm drain systems, repair of concrete pavement, asphalt overlay, street lighting, roadway signs, and replacement of guardrails and median barriers and pavement delineations.
Hwy 99/Route 152 Intersection (Madera, CA) Caltrans District 6
VSCE provides as-needed Construction Engineering and Construction Office Engineering services to Caltrans District 6, including construction inspection on a $60 million freeway widening and intersection project in Madera, California. The project involves multiple phases of staged construction.
I-80 Corridor and Hwy 12 (Solano, CA) Caltrans District 4
As a part of team for on-call inspections services, VSCE has provided inspection services on multiple projects along California’s I-80 Corridor and Highway 12, and has supported the team with inspection services in Solano County.
Interstate 5 Widening in Lathrop (San Joaquin County, CA)
VSCE has been providing on-call inspections services on multiple projects in Caltrans Districts 9 and 10. VSCE supported the team with inspection services in Amador, Mono, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne Counties. This effort consists of a widening project at Interstate 5 10-SJ-5-R22.4/R25.1-In San Joaquin County in Lathrop from 0.1 KM North of Paradise Cut Overflow Bridge to 0.7 KM North of Route 5/120 Separation overhead. Upon completion this project will widen two bridges: The Interstate 5 / Highway 120 Overpass and the San Joaquin River Bridge.
